Overview: Your assigned task is to create an 8-10 PowerPoint Slide show with a Zoom MP4 Recording (limited to 4-6 minutes) that narrates the points from your presentation and discusses your chosen organization’s change experience in the workplace. The main theme of the presentation describes and explains how your chosen organization responded to changes in the organization’s operational environment brought about by the pandemic. You will describe and explain how the organization monitored the environment to identify the need for change, how the organization engaged the employees in supporting the change, how the organization defined the required changes and how the organization made the changes using a change initiative. Your presentation change experience will conclude by describing and explaining the results of the change initiative by determining whether the change initiative was successful or not.
Change Experience Case Study Presentation and Recording Required Content and Discussion Points: The presentation will include the following PowerPoint slides and talking points for the MP4 recording.
Title Slide (1 Slide): Include the organization name, the assignment title and yourself as the author.
Organization Profile (1-2 Slides): Describe the organization’s business model, operational environment, and Stakeholders (CEO, employees, customers).
Organizational Change Sensors and the Change Initiative Response Elements (1-2 Slides): Describe and discuss how the organization monitors its operations for required changes. Describe the elements of the change initiative and how they are designed to successfully adapt to the operational environment.
Getting Support for the Change (1-2 Slides): Describe and explain how the organization used (or could have used) the communication strategies and channels discussed in the SHRM article, “Five Ways to Engage Employees in Change, ”Identify and discuss a minimum of 3 ways. Change Initiative Results (1-2 Slides): Describe and explain how the change initiative turned out. Determine what was or was not successful and why .
