Each one of you will need to pick one of the topics discussed in class and write a research paper on that topic (first come, first served!). Once you have selected a research topic and it has been approved, write about 10 pages double spaced (2500 words) on the topic. Make sure to define the topic (what are the laws about it, the penalties associated with breaking the laws….), how prevalent the issue is (how big is it, how often does it happens….), what is being done about it, what are the trends?
