Instructional Design Project Part 3

INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN PROJECT: PART 3 – DETERMINING THE INSTRUCTIONAL
CONTENT ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
Using a systematic approach, this third part of the Iinstructional Design Project is where you will
determine the goals, objectives, and learning outcomes that will frame the teaching and learning
decisions. Identify and sequence your instructional goals and align these with the organizational
goals. You will then determine the performance objectives through goal, task, and content
analysis. Refer to Figure 8.1 Steps for Converting Results of Task or Content Analysis Into
Performance Objectives (Rothwell, 2016). Conclude this section of your project by classifying
the performance objectives as demonstrated in Figure 8.2 Levels of Objectives in the Cognitive
Domain (Rothwell, 2016). Consider the affective, motor, and cognitive domains as you plan.
You will add at least 5 new references from literature articles, include 5 or more references from
the textbook chapters covered in this module, and format your paper using the most current APA
style guide.
