Your goal in this ARGUMENT assignment is to use and promote informed dialogue about the issue you’ve chosen to investigate.

Use your the rhetorical strategies of ETHOS, PATHOS, and LOGOS to compose an argument (+/- 1000 words) that makes a CLAIM about your issue and uses effective reasoning and credible evidence to persuade us to think differently about the issue or take some sort of action to help resolve it.

Part of your evidence must provide accurate and current facts or statistics or expert testimony from highly credible sources (scholarly articles and news articles from TAMUlibrary databases). Other evidence can include your personal experience, observations & analysis, others’ opinions or experiences from interviews, and your own logical reasoning. Your sources for Project 3 will be used in your argument. You’ll cite any sources using APA citation style for both in-text citations and full source citations in the References page.

Note: you must use simple english.

I want you to begin by connecting to a specific concept from a specific reading (either from the textbook or course reader articles). I am looking for you to explain the concept in detail using some of the author’s own words. Then, using specific examples from your personal experiences and/or the reading, explain what the concept means to you, how it applies to your life/experiences, and how it will change/impact the way that you live/experience things moving forward. You should cover a variety of concepts from a variety of the readings (not all from the textbook or all from the reader articles). Have fun and be honest!

Papers will be evaluated on: 1.) demonstration that reading has been completed, 2.) application of concepts and ideas, 3.) clarity of writing. Must include Introduction paragraph, Body paragraphs, and Conclusion paragraph. Try your best to smoothly connect your ideas and thoughts into a cohesive paper (not just answers to the questions). I attached both textbook file and article files. As the instruction says, you should cover a variety of concepts from a variety of the readings. (but not all from the textbook or all from the reader articles!) Professor thinks personal experiences and opinions are really important, so make sure you should write that a lot too.(If you need a background information to write the personal experience part of this essay, I am Asian girl)
