Write an introductory paragraph here. Be sure the paragraph is indented and doubled spaced. This introduction should be at least one paragraph, but may be more. This is where you define and describe the topic of research (cyberbullying),mention general research findings, identify gaps in the literature, and provide an indication of what the proposal will research.
Literature Review Please note: all red text is for explanation purposes only, it should not be included in your proposal.Formatting information – this is a Level 2 heading. The text should be bold and flush with the left margin. Use title case – this means that the first letter of each word is capitalized, except for certain small words, such as articles and short prepositions. The title of the heading is the only text on the line. Move to the next line to add in your next heading.
State Research Theme 1 Here. For Example – Factors that Increase the Risk of Cyberbullying Formatting information – this is a Level 3 heading. It should be bolded and flush with the left margin. You need to italicize this heading to make sure your reader knows that it comes under the heading above – it is part of the Literature Review. Similar to the above heading, use title case and move to the next line to add the text that comes under this heading.
Provide your Research Theme 1 information on the line directly below the Theme 1 heading. Describe the theme, present research findings that investigated the theme, and identify gaps in the literature. You should have this information already written as part of your literature review. Be sure that you integrate information from a minimum of two different research studies when discussing this theme.
State Research Theme 2 Here Formatting information – this is still a Level 3 heading because it comes under the Literature Review heading, so follow the Level 3 guidelines above.
Provide your Research Theme 2 information on the line directly below the Theme 2 heading. Describe the theme, present research findings that investigated the theme, and identify gaps in the literature. You should have this information already written as part of your literature review. Be sure that you integrate information from a minimum of two different research studies when discussing this theme.
State Research Theme 3 Here
Provide your Research Theme 3 information on the line directly below the Theme heading. Describe the theme, present research findings that investigated the theme, and identify gaps in the literature. You should have this information already written as part of your literature review. Be sure that you integrate information from a minimum of two different research studies when discussing this theme.
Conclusions and Rationale
This is where you provide a summary of the literature review. Discuss the general findings, conclusions, and implications. In other words, discuss why the findings are important. Why should your readers care? Note any limitations of the review, along with future directions. The limitations of the previous research should lead into a few sentences about the direction of future research. This will be your problem statement (what needs to be investigated next), which in turns guides your readers toward your research question. All of this information helps to rationalize why it is important to follow-up with your proposed study. You should have this information already written as part of your literature review.

Put your references on this page. There should be a minimum of seven. Be sure to arrange them in alphabetical order by the first author’s last name. Use the hanging indent alignment (first line of each reference is flush with the left margin, any additional lines should be indented a half inch) and follow all formatting guidelines. DO NOT copy the example references on this page into your paper. There needs to be a one-to-one correspondence between what is in the paper and what is on this page. If it is cited in the paper, it must be listed on this page. If it was not cited in the paper, it should not be listed on this page.
