Read the Introduction to Justin Smith’s The Internet is Not What You Think
1. Write a short summary of Smith’s text (80-130 words). In this summary, make sure that you: (A) Give his thesis/main-point, (B) explain important parts of his evidence, (C) give a good overall sense of what the text was about.
2. Pick at least (2) parts of the text where you needed to look something about to Teach Yourself more about. For example, you may have gone to wikipedia to look up a philosopher/scholar who was mentioned. Or, perhaps you looked up an important Concept that you weren’t very familiar with. Tell me what these (2) things are, and explain/summarize them in your own words.
