I want you to put yourself into the role of a researcher asking the question: “What is the most crucial environmental issue facing us today?” To accomplish this, use Google Forms to create a survey to distribute to friends, family, and through social media. The survey should include the question above, but should also include demographic questions like: gender, race/ethnicity, age, education level, income levels, etc. (there should be at least 5 and not more than 10). After you have at least 6 respondents and hopefully more than ten, examine and write up your findings including examining how demographic factors might influence their answers. For example: did women give similar answers? What about education or income levels?
Then ask yourself: What relation do these people have to you? Who took this question more seriously? Why do you feel they took the issue so seriously? Do you feel the others were not as concerned? What is your own answer to this question, and why do you feel the way you do?
