Research Topic: My research topic will be on “Examining the Effects of International Border Security Policies on Human Trafficking.” Thesis: This study intends to investigate how border security policies impact human trafficking across international borders. My primary focus is to thoroughly explore whether these policies effectively tackle the problem of human trafficking or if, by accident, they worsen the situation for trafficking victims. More specifically, my aim is to investigate whether these policies unintentionally lead to circumstances that make trafficking victims even more vulnerable, putting them at a greater risk of being exploited.
