Can people be persuaded to overcome bad habits? How would your team do it?
Changing habits can be especially difficult when it involves overcoming bad habits such as excessive phone use. For instance, always being connected can have its disadvantages, as many can attest. With excessive cell phone use, others have noticed a decline in meaningful conversations and communications, especially with those who are not in your inner circle. Several managers note a lack of attention and focus on important meetings when colleagues miss opportunities to contribute because they are glancing at an app or an e-mail or leaving the room to make a call.
1) How can we use persuasion to reduce cellphone addiction?
2) How would your team do it and what type of budgeting approach would you recommend to accomplish your objective?
