You will perform an analysis that focuses on 1 rhetorical appeal (logos, pathos, or ethos). If you wrote the original essay as a group paper, you can collaborate on this project. Assignments must follow these steps: 1. You will create a document (MS Word, google docs, etc.). 2. You will select a single frame of the video (or a single image if not a video) and 1 rhetorical appeal (ethos, pathos, or logos) you will focus on for your analysis. 3. On the first page of the document you will list 5 supporting details for 2 of the following mise-en-scène elements: setting, costume and make up, lighting, figure movement and acting, and the camera (shot distance, focus, angles, etc). 4: Write 300 words (must be 300, slightly more is okay but not less) where you write an analysis of your image using 1 rhetorical appeal and at least 1 mise-en-scene element. You can use original text from your previous paper, but be sure that you develop your writing in a way that meets the guidelines for this assignment.
