Phaedo. In your answer, be sure to explain what Plato means by “recollection.”
4. In the Phaedo, Simmias at 85e3-d3, offers an objection to the Affinity Argument and
the claim that the soul is immortal. Explain this objection. Choose one of the three replies
to this objection Socrates offers, and explain it.

soul or psyche, according to Plato.
