The aim of this assignment is to have you return to the three problems or issues that you identified in Assignment Number 1 and reflect on how a comparative analysis of health systems has changed, deepened, or modified your perceptions about these problems or issues. The question this assignment is:
How has a comparative analysis of health systems altered or modified your perceptions about the problems or issues that you identified in Assignment Number 1?
Your answer to this question may take a number of forms. It may be that the problems or issues were more complex than you imagined, it may be that there are more stakeholders that contribute to the problem or issue than you imagined, or it may be that the problems or issues that you identified are manifestations of a broader or deeper set of problems.
The goal of this assignment is not to have you write a detailed analysis of the problems or issues that you have identified, e.g., you need write a detailed analysis of the regulation of employer provided insurance or managed care. It is rather to reflect on the ways that comparative analysis of health systems has caused you to develop a deeper or more complex understanding of these issues or problems.
