This paper is designed to allow you to perform an in-depth exploration into a specific issue of the media. It asks you to think critically and be able to clearly identify the issue you are addressing, to apply evidence (research) to address the issue, and to look at how this issue of the media is reflected by and/or influencing our culture. I have provided a list of topics for you to choose from, but additional topic ideas are appreciated and absolutely welcome. Each topic must be turned in for approval with a thesis statement and 2 of your 5sources so you are not all writing about the same thing. I will createa discussion board assignment so please put your thesis and sources in that thread. You will write a 6 8 page paper that will go through 1 rough draft that will culminate into one final draft. The 6 8 pages DO NOT include your coverpage, abstract pageand reference pages. That means you will actually write 6 8 pages!!! All papers are required to be written in APA format with FIVEOUTSIDE SOURCES NOT INCLUDING TO YOUR BOOK. NOTE: THIS IS A RESEARCH PAPER DO NOTWRITE IN 1ST PERSON.Be sure that your research topic is explored through the lens of media literacy. You are welcome to use any analyzing strategies found in the book as well as further researched critical theory applications.
