Students will complete a research paper analyzing and detailing the work of a Latinx individual/Organization in the Latinx Advocacy/CJ field; or one that serves the Latinx Community. (Hispanic Federation, Netas, Latin Kings, Bronx Defenders, PRDELF, LULAC)
Part- Introduction of the subject/organization and their work (1-2 page)
Part II- Details about their life, history and their specific CR/ CJ issue/activity. (5-6pages) Their understanding of DTSAM, Minority, Dominant v. Subordinate
Part –III- Conclusion reflecting on their work and accomplishments or challenges (1-2 page)

· Find THREE journal articles that explain the history, philosophy and/or mission of this type of activist/organization; official reports, court cases etc.
