Essay Guidelines
Summarize the entire chapter and in one full paragraph.
How do the additional sources support the chapter? One full paragraph.
Write one to two paragraphs explaining the following quote: “For every step forward of Euro-American gain and triumph, there was a mirrored reaction of regress and loss by the indigenous inhabitants of North America.” Brendan Rensinck
Write one or two paragraphs addressing how we can undo some of the damage done to Indigenous communities in the US. Please don’t write something like “We need to be nice to each other” Think critically here!
Your essay must be a full page and a half long, minimum, for credit. Write in Times New Roman Font 12 point, double spaced. Omit any personal information on your submission – no name, date, class etc. Canvas gives me all the information.
Write your essay in a word processing program. Spell and grammar check. Count the number of sentences in each paragraph (5-7 sentences is a paragraph). Edit your work to meet the guidelines. Copy and paste your work into the submission field. If your formatting is messed up – fix it!
