1. Define ONE SPECIFIC informal cognitive bias (i.e., “confirmation bias,” “availability error, “Dunning-Kruger effect,” etc.) Make sure to use a formal definition and cite the source. Cite as (author page number)
2. Explain the cognitive bias by using an example of the bias. Remember, you are USING the example to support your explanation of how the cognitive bias works, so explain the example briefly.
3. Explain how the bias is an obstacle to good reasoning and how it might lead someone to false beliefs.
