As the Vice President of Marketing at Lottafizz for South Korea, you have been directed by CEO Marvin Malt and the senior management team to create a winning marketing strategy for business in the new country that is built upon a solid Code of Ethics. Initially, you may opt to reflect back to your work in Week 2. In Week 2, you performed a PESTEL analysis that uncovered important findings suggesting that commerce is done differently in the new country compared to the way that Lottafizz operates in America.
So, before developing an overall marketing strategy, you know that it will be critical to introduce a Code of Ethics for your new market.
This assignment will be refined and later included in your final report due Week 6.
For this assignment: You will first create an abbreviated (four-point) Code of Ethics, tailored for the American market, and then you will craft a fresh, four-point Code of Ethics for the new market. Include both Codes of Ethics with your report this week.

Develop an abbreviated Code of Ethics that introduces four key topics for your international market. (Ensure that there are at least two key differences from the American Code of Ethics.)
How will this Code of Ethics make Lottafizz’s marketing strategy more effective?
Restate your flagship product that was decided in Week 3. You are encouraged to provide any new details that might help to differentiate your brand from the competition. (Product size, packaging, flavor, etc.) Remember you are building the case for your product’s competitive advantage.
Describe the primary target market that you wish to win over that was developed in Week 4. Your defense should include, but not be limited to key demographic, psychographic as well as estimated usage segmentation tools. (Reminder: This is an ideal time to include numbers to justify this line of logic as you develop a justification on why this is the optimum target market.)
What are the key tactics of your marketing mix (4 P’s)? What will make these selected tactics in your marketing strategy successful in this competitive market?
Develop and introduce a baseline of preliminary budget line items that would help the finance team better understand what is monetarily needed to make your market strategy successful. Note, you are being asked simply for the items (e.g. sales promotion items, packaging, labels, etc.), not for monetary considerations.

Remember a strong Code of Ethics is very important for creating a solid foundation upon which to build your marketing strategy. Your Code of Ethics should:

Serve as a guide for making better decisions that help to avoid confusion and bring clarity to your brand.
Attracts customers who wish to do business with organizations that have and follow a strong Code of Ethics. Hint: Most customers do.
Note: Be sure to leverage the collective marketing knowledge you have gained throughout this program to help you craft your defense of this assignment.
