What is the next innovation in Hospitality & Tourism? Each student is required to think about the future and what is going to be the next new and exciting product or service to be offered to future consumers.You need to think about what choice consumers have today and when these products and services were most likely conceived. Now place yourself in the front line and think about what consumers are likely to want five to ten years’ time. What are the current trends, how are consumer generations changing, and what will they be looking for in their future? How are you going to supply your products and services better than your competitors? How are you going to make the most profit for you and your company over others who may copy or try to produce what you do cheaper? Once you have given thought, carried out some research on trends and what consumers like and do not like, think about your own generation. Do you likewhat your parents like? Perhaps not, so think about what your children will likely want. Will it be what you like? The answer is probably no. Therefore,this project is about looking into the future and designing a product or service using trends and consumer generation variables to predict something different and exciting. Once you have given thought and carried out some basic research, then start to construct your project.
