Needs Assessment Special Education

Use the needs assigntment attached to edit and complete also use the Report Card for Friendship Public Charter School Southeast Campus. Use the attached powerpoint for information about school plan and goals with special education as response to leadership questions.
After carefully reviewing the State Performance
Plan, you will select one of the indicators and complete a needs assessment for
your district. Be sure to interview 2 diverse stakeholders (one stakeholder
should be a special education administrator) to help you identify how the
indicator must be addressed in your district.
Your assessment should include the following:
Brief description
of the indicator
What does it
monitor-prioritize? What is necessary to meet the requirements of the selected
indicator!
Use the link to
identify your district data (Friendship Public Charter
School) Current
level of performance in district
(It should be
listed on district report card.) Current level of performance in state (to
compare if your district might be over or under identifying)
Who did you
interview? Key stakeholders for accomplish goals
What did they say,
briefly yet concisely? Input from selected key stakeholders
Ideas for
roadblocks or obstacles to address need? Potential challenges that will need to
be addressed
Provide a ½- 1 page reflection that addresses
the following questions: What did you learn about yourself in this
process? What was frustrating or challenging? Any roadblocks?
What did you learn from your conversation with selected key stakeholders that
was helpful/confusing/disconcerting?
