1. From the results, choose a peer-reviewed journal article that interests you. Read that journal article and look for the variables that they measured. Tell us what TWO of the variables were and whether they were nominal, ordinal, interval, or ratio measures. (Figure 5-1 of the textbook can help you with this, but make sure you understand what each of these means by reading the chapter).
2. Next, what does the paper say about the reliability and/or validity of the study (usually found in the Discussion section) and/or the measures (Usually found in the Methods/Measures section)? Use your own words to summarize. HINT: The authors will actually use the words reliability and/or validity, so as you read the article, look for these.
