1)In the two poems “Theme for English B” and “I Too,” Hughes establishes not only his pride in his black identity, but his position as part of American culture. 2)In this short story, Hurston portrays the up and down of a marriage. What are the qualities of both characters that you think allowed for them to forgive themselves and each other?
