This week’s assignment is about taking a stand on an issue that affects your professional practice. In order to take a stand, you must analyze the issue, think about the impact your position might have, and make recommendations. Review the rubric and reading assignments carefully. It is strongly suggested that you use the rubric content domains as headings for your paper.
Select a controversial nursing related legal, ethical, or policy issue of interest to you (and not the same one from the policy brief).
1. Write a position statement paper (no more than 8 pages, excluding the title page and references) following one of the guidelines/formats provided in your text (boxes 15-13, 15-14, 15-15) and the grading rubric provided in the course resources.
