Hello, I am asking for guidance in formatting and organizing what is currently a word vomit into a cohesive essay.
I specifically need help creating a introduction, a conclusion, and reorganizing my body paragraphs to tie back to my thesis statement. Please don’t change my thesis statement as they were revised by the professor.
as I am writing for “Text and Data Media History” class, the essay has to be on how the printing press enabled a Political, religious, or cultural activism.
The specific prompt is: “though print enhanced the capacities of governments to administer and control populations, it also expanded opportunities for mobilization and action to many groups and individuals outside the halls of power. Compose an argument explaining how print enabled a person, organization, or social group to assert themselves politically, religiously, or culturally. You may address the activities of historical agents seeking to attract like-minded supporters, organize new institutions, convey messages critical of ruling elites, combat encroaching government power, or legitimize a moral position.”
The essay specifically has to draw ideas from Elizabeth Eisenstein, and I am planning onto focus on her concepts “standardization,” “vernacularization,” and “cult of personality.”
The focus of my particular essay is on Martin Luther, and how “Through deft use of the printing press, Luther was able to deliver his Protestant message directly to the masses through the use of vernacular pamphlets with standardized designs, effectively constituting his own brand.”
