After reviewing all of the articles and information in this folder, discuss three specific things you learned about how children are affected by geography, SES, race, culture, gender, sex, or disability. DO NOT include your own personal opinions on these topics but instead, cite information and facts from the articles that you were not aware of and the implications of this information on your future work with youth and others within the community. Be VERY careful not to perpetuate any stereotypes and be sure your post is free of bias. You are to discuss facts and information presented in the articles and what that means for your future work with youth and community programs. Be sure to cite article information in your post PROPERLY and DO NOT plagiarize.

Discuss two activities for youths that you can do in your current or future youth program that will help students who may be affected by geography, SES, race, culture, gender, sex, or disability on a global, national, or local scale. Be specific and provide examples to support your discussion of your two activities. Activities should be fun and engaging. They can be large group or small group. These are not lessons, simply activities that you might do with your program participants in about a 60-90 minute time frame.
