AUDITING–ORAL REPORT GUIDELINES:
1. Do NOT use the textbook as a reference. Go beyond the textbook and find new material relating to your topic. Begin with a “Google” search of your topic. Next, use ProQuest database, NexisUni database or another database at the TSU Library website (under Research Tools, click on “A-Z Databases”) to look for journal articles or legal cases. Points will be deducted if you rely exclusively on material from our textbook.

2. You are not allowed to use “canned” ready-to-go powerpoint presentations that you find on the internet; you must make your own! If you use canned powerpoints, it will be obvious and points will be deducted.

3. Organization of slides:First slide: Title of Presentation & student name Second slide: Table of Contents (other slides) Next-to-Last slide: Conclusions Last slide: 5ormoreReferences (the more, the better) containing up-to-date, current information. No reference should be more than 5 years old. Do not use your textbook as a reference. Give full references, not merely web addresses!
