You have the opportunity to earn extra credit this semester by viewing a previous semester’s Speech Night, which is where the SRJC Speech and Debate Team performs. You will view speeches, interpretations of literature and debates.
In order to receive up to 50 extra credit points: Pick ONE of the videos found on YouTube here. They’re all about 1.5 hours long. You’ll pick the one you want to view and then watch it, taking notes about each performance (what type it was, what the subject was, etc) and then write a 2-page, typed, double-spaced essay about the performances (maximum 1 page summary of everything) and what you liked best and why you liked it best (minimum 1 page analysis).
