In this assignment, you will prepare a formal PowerPoint presentation on a selected parasomnia. This is a research assignment providing you the opportunity to investigate timely, scholarly resources for relevance to your topic.
Include the following information in your presentation:
Overview of the disorder
Signs and symptoms associated with the disorder
Diagnosis of the disorder
Treatment(s)
All submissions must be properly cited and written in current APA format
Demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts presented in the course
Prepare a PowerPoint presentation
Have a minimum of 7 slides but limited to 12 slides
Include citations in the Notes of each slide & a Bibliography on the last slides
Include presentation Notes for each slide of your talking points–include personal experiences, expand on bullet points, stress significance, etc.
Recommend using at least 4 sources other than your text and personal experience with a minimum of 2 sources coming from peer-reviewed journals published in the last 5 years to support your idea, argument or assertion
Integrate your sources effectively into your writing. Consider:
Does a specific conclusion or idea in the source align with your presentation?
Is there data in the source which supports your thesis?
Are there similar, consistent conclusions or theses, or patterns between multiple sources which you want to further explore in your thesis?
