Explain what the independent impact of each of the independent variables (X’s) on the Y variable.

Watch the 11 minute video I produced with a team “Bus Stop Jobs” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=scVU9LHmjxQAbout a day in the life of a rider in the Winston-Salem public bus system to give a feel of a person behind the numbers.
2. Open the dataset “Subset of bus riders” under “Files”.
3. Take wages as the dependent variable and 3 independent variables.
4. Run the “DESCRIPTIVE STATISTICS” analysis with n = 215 observations.
5. Run the “REGRESSION” analysis with n = 215 observations.
6. Create Table 1. Summary StatisticsUse all 4 variables.
7. Create Table 2. Regression statistics, Dependent variable: wage. Use dependent variable: wage plus your 3 chosen independent variables. Report coefficients ONLY. To 2 decimal places only!
8. Make sure tables are nice and cleaned up. No extra statistics other than what I want.
9. Explain what the independent impact of each of the independent variables (X’s) on the Y variable. Note, confusingly, they are all labelled as “X” variables in this dataset.
The explanation should be along the lines of “For a 1 unit rise (what is the unit??) in X (what is X??), there will be a ____ change in Y (what is Y?). 10. Link the video you watched with the observations from the data in your regression. What insights to you gain from each? What is not portrayed in each?
