2. Taking at least one source from your Annotated Bibliography, begin to write your paper. One source that must eventually be used in this paper is the Jared Diamond source. He must be included long enough for his argument to be disproven.

4. Using new sources as needed, and/or ones you already had for your Annotated Bibliography, continue your paper.
5. Following The Short Folder, cite and list sources according to Short Folder rules 4-8 and 11. Proofread for the rest of rules as well. Proofread also for the “no you” rule. Then submit your essay in a Word document.
1,000 – 1,100 word rough draft (Works Cited pages are not counted in the word count) is due on or before Tuesday, Oct 5.
This is a follow up to your Abstract and Annotated Bibliography, not to be confused in any way with a journal entry, except that journal entry essays must also have MLA research following The Short Folder.

5-8 sources should be used.

The first paragraph should mention a person by name.
It should include a quotation.
It should include MLA parentheses, which means that it should include research.
