Case Analysis
Formal In-Depth Analysis
A formal written case analysis will be prepared, using appropriate word processing software, free of grammatical, punctuation, and spelling errors and posted to a designated location on Blackboard.
The content of your written report MUST reflect your thoughts and analysis rather than the work of others. Your written analysis MUST reflect your thorough, in-depth, and rigorous evaluation and/or assessments.
To streamline your analysis, specific questions are developed for you to address as part of your analysis (refer to a document delineating the written case analysis requirements for a specific case assigned to you or your group – these are located under the “Case Analysis Questions” folder on blackboard). Your analysis MUST specifically address, as a minimum, all questions for an assigned case, and needs to go beyond just answering the questions. Your report (and underlying analysis) should leave no doubt that you have utilized the analytical tool(s) covered in the textbook in arriving at your strategic issues, recommendations, and conclusions. Your analysis must be very detailed, thorough, and rigorous; and MUST demonstrate critical and creative thinking (thinking outside-of-the-box).
