The research investigates the role of business analytics in forecasting and budgeting. The independent variable is business analytics. The dependent variable is budget goal choice. The mediating variable is forecast accuracy. As business analytics gathers internal and external data and uses statistical techniques in addition to technology to predict the future, it should help with forecast accuracy. The forecast accuracy would lead to better goal choice. I will distribute the survey myself to collect the research data to provide them to you for analysis using SPSS software.
