Reconstructing Gettier’s argument

For this writing assignment, first provide your own example which seemingly shows, like Gettier’s examples, that justified true belief is not sufficient for knowledge. This should be your own example, not an example from one of the readings or videos (you can use the same example that you posted to the discussion if you would like). Make sure that it is perfectly clear what the reader is supposed to be imagining when they consider your example.

After describing the example, explain how the example is supposed to show that the traditional analysis of knowledge is false. Lay out the argument against the traditional analysis in premise-conclusion form. The ultimate conclusion of the argument that you provide should be a statement to the effect that the traditional analysis is false. Your job is to lay out the premises and the reasoning which generate that conclusion.
