You will present an argument. Take a stance or address a question/problem related to the topic. While this is not a full research essay, you will need sources to help make your point. Use sources and information that have helped you learn about the topic and define/understand the issue you are addressing. In the end, the stance and/or action the essay argues for should be yours.
Your argument will be 1500 words (about 5 pages not including bibliography), double spaced, 12pt font, essay. You are writing to your classmates, so consider them in your research, word choice, and examples.
The goal of this assignment is not to change your classmates’ minds, but to practice communicating your stance on an issue in a reasonable and clear manner.
