SPORTS LAW

Entertainment law covers an area of law that involves media of all different types (TV, film, music, publishing, advertising, Internet & news media, etc.) and stretches over various legal fields, which include corporate, finance, intellectual property, publicity, and privacy, and, in the United States, the First Amendment to the United States Constitution
Sports law students learn about many specialized areas of law with general application outside the sports industry (e.g. antitrust, labor, intellectual property, federal disability discrimination laws, etc.) and develop contract negotiation, business planning, and transactional skills.
Question/Review:
1. Pick two areas from sports or entertainment law and briefly provide a description of that area of practice.
2. Find two recent articles or most recent that discusses one of the two areas you described
3. Share a brief synopsis of the articles
