In the body of the essay, students should consider the following questions:
* What did the individual or event you selected for the topic contribute to the Civil Rights Movement? Be specific and include examples from multiple sources.
* What challenges or hardships did the individual experience? What challenges did participants in the event experience? 10 points
* What did the journals, texts, and primary source documents you read have to say about the significance of your individual or event to the Civil Rights Movement?
* Explain the response or reaction of the American public to the individual or event you selected. 10 points
3. Conclusion:
