Directions: Please use this journal to reflect upon the chapter content. Journal reflections will be scored upon your thoughtfulness, not the length. A thoughtful reflection, followed by
an attempt to communicate our thoughts, can help us make sense of information.
Reflecting on information learned also helps us to store this information in
such a way that it may be more easily retrieved when it is needed (like during
an exam, for example). Please provide a journal entry reflecting of your
learning in 200 – 300 words and title it, for example, “Chapter 21 Journal
Reflection – Genome Evolution” as appropriate; this helps me understand the
chapter and content you are intending to reflect upon. Your entry should
contain a general summary of the chapter or of specific concepts (plural!) that
