*Each student will develop an operations budget for a Division-I women’s college softball team, and your budget will be no more than $80,000. You may select the conference that you wish to create a budget for (OVC, Sun Belt, SEC, ACC, etc.).
*You will have an exclusive contract with one of the following companies: Adidas, Nike, Under Armour, Reebok, Mizuno, or Louisville Slugger. You will purchase your apparel, shoes, equipment from the company that you have an exclusive contract with. Because you have an exclusive contract, you will receive a 40% discount from your total order. However, if you identify a piece of apparel, shoe, or equipment that the company does not produce, you can acquire it from a different company, but you will not receive a discount from that company; you will have to pay full price. You will need to research websites for prices and include them in your overall total. You must provide a link to the rates of every piece of apparel, shoes, or equipment that you include in your budget.
You will need to identify a busing company and identify their rates and use those in your budget to meet all of your travel needs. You will need to locate hotels in the cities of your selected conference. Make sure to include their rates as part of your budget. You can subtract one of the cities of your conference as this will be your home base (example: If you are Jacksonville State, then you don’t have to use the rates for the Hampton Inn in Jacksonville as this is a home series for you). This information must go into your budget. You will need to include the link of all hotel rates you use in the various conference cities that are part of your final budget
