Write and submit a strong P.I.E. paragraph, in which you discuss a couple of the themes from the Themes Chart. The Point/Topic Sentence should discuss what the themes show us about the meaning of the memoir, and the Information/Evidence should include quotes that reflect the themes, cited in MLA Style. Label each section as
“P,” “I,” and “E,” so that it is clear that
P.I.E. format is being used.
