Describe the selection process for judges and address any efforts made to reform this process. Analyze the politics around the process as it exists and the calls for change. If Florida employs the Missouri Plan for appointment and retention of judges, discuss the benefits of and problems with such a system; if Florida employs a pure appointment process for judges, describe the benefits of and problems with this system. Address one or two cases of significance the courts in your state have dealt with in recent years.
