Decide what your character could be interviewed about for a general interest feature—not some heroic rescue story about saving an infant from a fire, but something for the Living or Metro section.

At the top of each entry, please list the date and be sure to number and to title each entry. I will skim them to make sure they are done but will not spend much time reading them in-depth so that they can remain a place where you feel free to explore.

#1) The Feature Story
Your character is being interviewed by the local newspaper—about what? Decide what your character could be interviewed about for a general interest feature—not some heroic rescue story about saving an infant from a fire, but something for the Living or Metro section. This could be some unusual hobby, some family history, or some form of public service. Write about the interview itself, the feature story, and the character’s reaction when reading the story in the newspaper.
