Discuss ways in which the criminal justice system is addressing the barriers that you identified and the ways you think the criminal justice system could better address the obstacles that you identified in the articles.

Read and review your identified 6-8 peer reviewed journal articles that
address your crime victim and the obstacles they face when engaging in the
criminal justice system.
ii. Organize your articles by subtopic. Subtopics should be three barriers that crime
victim faces either while engaging in the criminal justice system or in
deciding to engage in the criminal just system (for example when
deciding to report to police).
iii. Clearly summarize each article and any findings relevant to your victim and
their barriers.
iv. Write a conclusion about consistent and inconsistent findings amongst the
articles. Discuss ways in which the criminal justice system is addressing the
barriers that you identified and the ways you think the criminal justice system
could better address the obstacles that you identified in the articles. (Perhaps
there are specialized courts or other programs being tried in other states).
