First, describe in detail these three characters: Emily, Homer Barron, and Tobe, the servant. Secondly, take a point of view of one of them and explain any story scene from their perspective. For example, describe Emily’s point of view when her father died and how she wouldn’t give up his body for burial. Or what do you suppose was Toby thinking when Emily died and everyone came to her house, while he walked out the back forever? What about Homer Barron’s vague comments to the men at the club about his preferring to spend time with men?
