Topic 1 – Choose one of the weekly topics and write a question. Negotiate a final topic and question with your tutor. Describe and critically analyze.
Topic 2 – Compare and contrast Australian Indigenous politics with another colonized country.

Then:
Brainstorm a suitable topic based on what you know and what you are interested in.
Look for relevant literature about your topic. Write a short annotation about each reading.
Develop one key question for your essay topic. Try to narrow your topic down as much as possible.
Use your annotations to help you decide what topic to pick for your major essay.
