For this paper, I would like you to reflect on the social construction of sexuality as it relates to the social construction of gender. The authors of the readings in this module argue that, like gender, sexuality is a socially constructed experience. While desires, interests, or acts may be individual, the social meanings and the social consequences of sexuality are contextual and specific to the situation or culture in which they are occurring.
