Identify an area of stress in your life.

Each person experiences some type of stress in his or her life. This week’s assignment requires you to identify an area of stress in your life, use your textbook to find a way to relieve some of this stress, and assess whether the technique identified in the book would work for you. Be sure to complete all three parts of this assignment.

Part 1: Identify an area of stress in your life. Explain what is causing you stress, how you feel physically and emotionally when experiencing this stress, and how you deal with this stress.

Part 2: Review the readings for this week and find a psychologist, theory, or suggestion on how you could reduce or stop the stress. Identify the psychologist, theory, or suggestion, and explain why you think that this information might help with the area of stress.

Part 3: Explain how you would need to change your life in order to make the items that you found in Part 2 happen in your life. For example, you might need to make new friends, add time in your schedule for exercise, or create a different budget.
