In 1735, Linaeus created a human classification system that became the basis of racial discrimination. Read “How Scientific Taxonomy created the Myth of Race” and either contradict or support Linnaeus’s classification system, based on what you have learned in this course (you can reference other module readings in your response).
Read Part 2, Chapter 5 of your Guest text. Read the Intro at the beginning of the chapter and then read,”How did Jews Become White folks?” and answer/post the questions at the end of that reading.
Read the Kendi reading. Kendi argues that Minorities and/or POC can be racist. Reflect on this critically/deeply, do you agree? Why or why not?
Watch the 4 “Do the Right Thing excerpts” (5/10, 9/10, Raheem’s Death and 10/10) in Content.
