Write a Literature review for Research Methods PSCI

The format of the literature review paper should be as follows:
The first page should include the paper title and the author.
Introduction
Contains the description of the research question
Explains why the research question is important to social science
The paragraph concludes with a thesis statement on your research and independent variables to be used
Literature
Variables found by scholars to explain the research question you identified
Hypotheses identified in the literature and supported by authors’ findings
Alternative arguments you wish to make about your research
Conclusion
General comment on the research topic
Summary list of hypotheses you wish to apply to your study, e.g.
H1: The more education a person has, the more likely that person is to vote
H2: The greater the literacy of a country, the more likely it is to be economically developed
H3: The older an individual is, the more likely that person is to have conservative values
Example of hypotheses:
Are older citizens more likely to vote as young people? (political participation)
Does education lead to higher wages? (income inequality)
Does higher literacy in the country translate into higher democracy scores? (democratic transition)
