1. Consider something you want to call in for your body right now; in this class, or in life. What is something you need or want more of?
2. Allow yourself to be drawn to a meeting place of bones in the body. It can be a joint you were drawn to in class on Tuesday, or a new one.
3. Write about why this place is of interest to you. What do you see or notice here? How is the architecture working together, and in relationship with gravity? What mysteries or questions do you still have here?
4. Go to this place in your body. Discover a movement that occurs here, that assists in calling in that which you need or want more of right now. Using the new language of “planes of the body” and “flexion or extension, adduction or abduction, etc.” define which plane this movement is occurring in: Sagital, Frontal/Coronal, or Transverse, and which action it is.
5. How can you do this movement in an easeful, relaxing, or pleasurable way?
This is a reflection paper, no out source needed.
