Discuss about the impact of Filipino migrants on the United States Health Care System, particularly in the New York Health Care System.

And how extensive has it become, such as from 1946, Philippine Independence, until the present? How do you explain
this phenomenon?
Growing up in the Philippines, I have seen the number of students pursuing a career in medicine to work in a foreign country as a final goal, particularly in the United States. This topic is very close to my heart because as an immigrant myself and working in a health care field. I see firsthand the process and the benefits of being a health care worker in the United States compared to the Philippines. The Medical Schools in the Philippines provide extensive education and training to aspiring students. These credentials make Filipino healthcare workers perfect candidates for jobs abroad. And sadly, because health care workers in the Philippines are not highly paid, they tend to look for other employment abroad. In the United States of America, Health Care system Healthcare workers are the spur of this industry and can be considered real-life superheroes. According to the Times, in 1960, over150,000 Filipino nurses emigrated to the US.Due to medical education in the Philippines,Filipino health care workers are in demand. They are renowned for their hard work andcompassion. They work long hours on their feet to meet the medical needs of people with littlecredit or praise for the work they do. But in spite of that, with better compensation, they still have atendency to leave their own country to come and work here in the United States.I selected this as my topic because I would like to study further when the Filipinos started immigrating to the United States, what pushed them and how they are changing the healthcaresystem in the United States ever since.
