Toddler Lesson Plan/ Parent News Letter as well

(1st) Assignment
Weekly Lesson Plan & Student
Presentation of Plans:
The lesson plan assignment will require each
student to decide on a theme for an early childhood classroom and then
plan a week’s worth of developmentally appropriate activities for each learning
center located in the classroom. Your plan has to be approved by the
instructor. The activities planned should reflect upon the week’s theme. Once
the lesson plans are completed, each student will then present their full
week’s lesson plan to the class. Since students are unable to actually
implement the plan in a classroom setting or during a roll play presentation,
students will simply present all aspects of his/her lesson plan by providing
specific details that explain why and how he/she went about devising the
overall lesson plan. The Weekly Lesson Plan is worth 150 points (100 of the
total 150 pts. will be the lesson plan forms completed for submission). You
will submit two lesson plans forms(the plan form, and a second form that
includes a listing of group activities for children.) The Student Presentation
of the lesson plan is worth 50 points (25 points for presentation & 25
points for the developmental appropriateness of activities and materials
planned).
